Re: Benham Inn and Portal 31

Pappy, the 500,000 is in the bank. Judge exec Dan Mosley is actively seeking grants to add to it. 500,000 is a lot of money, but not enough for a water park. It would take that amount just to get the plans drawled up. I have checked on the money several times since I took office and it shows up on o...

I promise you I have no hidden agenda. I want him to tell us what he is talking about also, because he is making it appear that I'm lying.

Re: Benham Inn and Portal 31

Well please tell us all why, because I have nothing to hide. I understand that some people in the tri cities area are upset over two votes against this lease agreement, but believe me they are a whole lot that has messaged me and called and thanked me for voting the way I did. The tax payers can not...

Re: Benham Inn and Portal 31

I stand by my decision to vote against the Agreement to lease the Benham Inn. The county does not have the money to keep this place up. We have to pay the insurance and all up keep. Mr. Warp wanted us in the original proposal to replace all windows, update the heating and cooling, black top the park...

Re: Magistrates are paid $47,271.68 a year

My phone number is 837-0333, cell phone is 505-5943. You are right the old number is not in service right now, we moved and my wife wanted to leave that number for her son since he was moving in her house. The 837-0333 is the office number I have had since taking office. Sorry for any inconvenience....

Re: Heated Fiscal Court Meeting: Updated: 12/19/2013

WOW! Didn't see that coming  The report mentioned Joe "said" other departments would be cut too. Wonder if they will be "gutted" like the Sheriff's Office too  ? How about Mr. Moore? Marvin submitted a budget of 907,000.00, a vote was taken with Me, kennedy, and Joe ...

Re: Heated Fiscal Court Meeting: Updated: 12/19/2013

I don't know how this mis-understanding about a vote has surfaced but it is not true. Every dept. Will be seeing cuts. Marvin J, was told to see what cuts he can make and he is working on this at this time. They were no vote on cutting any jobs today. Every dept. Will need to see were they can make ...

Re: Dumping Grounds

Any progress that has been made cleaning this county up has just been eliminated by the Fiscal Court. The county will now charge a trailer rental fee of $35.00, and lets be honest about it 90% will opt to dump it on the side of the road, in the mountains, or the river. No one brought up the idea of...

Re: Fiscal Court News! Updated 02/20/2013

I have received several phone calls from county employees who are very concerned about this, which is understandable. I made several calls concerning this today, and was told that the money was paid to social security, and they were a problem with some paper work that is to be sent also, so I calle...

Re: question

He is still running for magistrate district 2, but he is making a mistake by thinking he has this thing won.
