Yeah. It's kind of like calling organized terrorist demonstrators.

I could see MSNBC doing just that.

I in no way support "hate" groups, but they have a right to believe how they wish.

Here's the irony. Robert E. Lee was the most decorated soldier in the U.S. Army. He was a man of unimpeachable integrity. Lincoln offered him command of the Union Army, but Lee refused only because his loyalty was to Virginia. Lee opposed both secession and slavery, and yet the historically illiterate left, a man who opposed both slavery and secession has come to symbolize both slavery and secession. Dinesh D'Souza

General Lee was an intelligent man that knew when he was beaten. He should be honored for conceding when he did, and ending the slaughter. And that's about all.

I don't agree that our nation should continue to honor those that sought to secede from our United States and lost. No other nation idolizes or even honors those that lost a civil war. Neither should ours.

The Civil War was the darkest most threatening event our country has ever experienced. While we should always value the lesson's this historical war taught us, we should not glorify and immortalize those that fought to secede from our United States. It really doesn't matter why the South wanted to secede. What matters is the South lost and were unable to divide our nation from one nation into two.

It is our indivisable one nation that matters. We should learn from history, as not to be doomed to repeat it.

Israel is in violation of International Law established by Geneva's Fourth Convention that prohibits moving civilians into occupied territory. Palestine's natural resources are water, land and minerals. Israels expansion includes natural gas as it's natural resource. Israel's only other natural resource is minerals, sand and Palestinian land that it has occupied since 1967. Israel in effect has exploited, and continues to exploit natural resources that do not belong to it.

Israel is the only dependable ally of the U.S. in the destabilized Middle East. Given that circumstance, the U.S. lacks the political will to back the Geneva Fourth Convention's International Law.

Palestinian land

Who? What? Where? Palestine isn't a state, it's not a country, it's not on any maps, it doesn't exist.

A picture is worth a thousand words.

Below is a link to Rand McCalley's 1937 map of Palestine and what was then it's neighbor occupied by Jordon for 19 years (called Trans Jordon).

In 1948, 3 years after the end of WWII 'Trans Jordon' was officially given to people of Jewish decent for their homeland. It was cultivated by Jews using communes established by European Ashkenazi Jews. Before and after modern Israel was established, Jews of Middle East descent also occupied Trans Jordon. They shared the territory with Arabs of Moddle Eastern descent.

The Jewish population of Israel has increased from the country's inception in 1948 to 6,135,000 in 2014 while the population of the diaspora has dropped from 10.5 to 8.1 million over the same period.

This means 2.4 million Jews in Israel out of it's total 6.1 population are Ashkenazi Jews. Only 2% of Israel's Jewish population are original Middle East Jews whose heritage are of pre-Babylonia descent.

No one, including Arabs, disputes the original Trans Jordon territories known as Israel. The dispute is over Israel's expansion and occupation of territories not included in the original agreement. Specifically the West Bank.

*Diaspora: a group of people who live outside the area in which they had lived for a long time or in which their ancestors lived.

From Google.

Violent crime spiked in 2015 after the death of Freddie Gray on April 19, 2015, which touched off riots and a crime wave that has resulted in an increase in murders. ... This was the highest murder rate on a per capita basis ever recorded.

Who do we put the blame on? The mayor who forced officers to stand down? It was a small skirmish that turned into a full blown riot when the mayor gave the thugs a safe area to riot in. How about the prosecutor who over charged the officers and made it all about race. Even though some of the officers were black. Who by the way were found not guilty by a jury composed of black and white jurist.

The blame falls to institutionalized racism. The Civil Rights Act did a lot to protect minorities and start the wheel rolling, that will someday completely dismantle institutionalized racism.

Martin Luther, Jr's dream for a person's character to be judged, will go beyond fulfilling only the dreams of people of color. There will come a day when everyone will be judged by their character. Not their gender, belief, able bodiness or age. In that day our differences will be judged by our character. Not what we look like, or who we know or don't know. Or what we have or don't have.

I may be overly optimistic but I don't believe we all will have died, risen and living in paradise, when that day comes.
