King Trump's Russian Ties

Postby Cate McCalley » Tue Feb 14, 2017 7:56 am

Mark one up for America's sovereignty and national security.

Your President's National Security Advisor, Michael Flynn, has resigned and sullied the reputation of V.P. Pence in the process.

Your President is such a 'smart' man. He knows more than even our Generals know. Why wouldn't he? I imagine having a direct line to Russian Intelligence news feeds makes you really 'smart'. Or at least makes you feel 'really smart'. Lol!

Well he lied to the Vice President. He should have been fired on the spot.

If Flynn had to resign over a conversation with Russia, Hillary should be prosecuted for selling Russia uranium.

Flynn lied and paid the price for lying. Susan Rice lied and nothing happened.

Thanks for giving me the opportunity to set the record straight on yet another of the alt rights propaganda lies.

Secretary Hillary Clinton did not have the power to veto or approve of the 20% sale of U.S. uranium reserves to Russia. In fact she was never a part of the committee deciding on the transaction.

She was one of nine cabinet members and department heads of CFIUS that approved the sale. The Secretary of Treasury chairs CFIUS and all of its nine member agency heads. All nine members evaluated the sale considering any potential national security issue. They did not find any.

Assistant Secretary of State Jose Fernandez represented the State Dept. on CFIUS for the sale of the 20% U.S. uranium reserves to Russia, and has gone on record stating that Secretary of State Hillary Clinton herself never intervened in committee matters, including the 20% sale of U.S. uranium reserves to Russia.

Frank Giustra,a uranium investor, donated $131.3 million, of the alleged $145 million donated to the Clinton Foundation by uranium investors. In 2007, three years before the uranium sale to Russia, Giustra sold off his entire stake in the uranium company. This occurred 18 months before Clinton became secretary of state.

Of the remaining individuals connected with Uranium One who donated to the Clinton Foundation, only one was found to have contributed during the same time frame that the deal was taking place, according to The New York Times — Ian Telfer company’s chairman was the only investor of the alleged 'Uranium One' investors found to have made small contribution to the Clinton Foundation during the time frame the deal was transacted.

Hardly enough evidence to tie Hillary Clinton or the Clinton Foundation to profiting from the 20% sale of U.S. uranium reserves to Russia, even if she had sat on the deciding body of CFIUs (which she didn't), or had been directly involved in the transaction (which she wasn't).

Exactly how would Glustra's selling off his uranium interest 3 years befor a deal that could have made him handsomely profit, and 18 months befor Hillary Clinton became Secretary of State cast suspiscion on Hillary Clinton for any wrong doing?

Are you referring to Brietbarts investigative organization (billing itself as GAI), that reported Podesta's board membership on the small energy company, Joule Unlimited? The same Joule Unlimited the FBI sent a letter to (among many other companies) warning about it's board's senior Russian official, who was also a board member of Skolkova (an Russian initiative attempting to set up a competing Russian 'Silicon Valley' of sorts)?

Interestingly, the Russian investment community had not shown any interest in such small companies like Joule Unlimited, until John Podesta became a board member. Two months after Podesta joined the Joule Unlimited's board, one of Russia's investors Rusnano (and a Putin associate) announced that it would invest up to $35 million in Joule Unlimited, (equal to about 1/5th of the entire investment dollars Joule collected from 2007 to 2013.

Brietbarts GAI report couldn't confirm that Podesta made a dime from the Russian investment in Joule Unlimited. Yet Breitbart (being the spinmaster of alternative facts that it is) chose to run a story implicating Podesta with Putin's corrupt oligarchy's. Brietbart did however, acknowledge Podesta divested his stock interest in his 2014 federal disclosure filing. Theres just so much spin you can do to make your alternative facts plausible. Just so much spin before it's obvious propaganda that motivates some real journalist to call you out on it.

No spin. Just stating that he was on a Russian Energy Company's Board!

Theres no doubt Hillary Clinton was on board to 'reset' relations with Russia. Part of that 'reset' was encouraging Russian oligarchy investment into biofuel development, such as Joule Unlimited pursues. Clinton encouraged investment in Skolkova, a tech enterprise as well.

What Hillary Clinton did not do was refuse to release her tax returns for public scrutiny. Nor did she invite Russian espionage to gather inconvenient leaks to embarrass her primary political opponent.

Hillary Clinton voiced strong opposition to Putin's aggressive takeover of Crimea, and continuous threat to Ukraine. Your President has not said one word to discourage Putin's aggression, nor has he offered any reason for his silence since taking the office of POTUS.

Obama's lack of a strong foreign policy in such matters has threatened the solidarity of NATO and our allies.

It doesn't matter which U.S. Administration continues the mistake of a weak foreign policy. It matters that it continues to be weak, and is growing more so with each passing day.

How would that work Pappy? Wouldn't Petraues need a Presidential pardon? I can't imagine there isn't some kind of parole issues (travel restrictions, etc.) that would limit his National Security Advisor duties?
