Too bad investigative journalism wasn't a thing during Benghazi, the IRS scandal, VA scandal or Fast & Furious.

Hmmm....I guess we concur that Brietbarts investigative journalism arm a/k/a GAI, that supposedly investigated 'Benghazi, the IRS, VA and Fast & Furious scandals' (that Breitbart published extensively about), wasn't real investigative journalism.

Hillary Clinton voiced strong opposition to Putin's aggressive takeover of Crimea, and continuous threat to Ukraine.

That got me to thinking. Who was President during this time?

The better question is who was Secretary of State? It was John Kerry, not Hillary Clinton.

One of the more significant propaganda tactics that worked for the alt right in electing your Presdient Trump, was tying Hillary Clinton to the foreign policies of President Obama.

Her service in the Obama Administration was with his first term, spanning four years (Jan. 21, 2009 - Jan. 2013), at which time she resigned her post. Clinton was a popular New York Senator when she ran against Obama, and resigned to take the Secretary post.

Late in Obama's second election cycle in 2012, Obama met with Putin's representative, Mr. Medvedev at the South Korea Summit.

Obama's conversation with Mr. Medvedev was caught on a hot mic. Obama asked Mr. Medvedev to tell Mr. Putin that missile defense and other issues could be solved “but it’s important for him to give me space,” to which Mr. Medvedev replied in English, “Yeah, I understand.” Obama informed Medvedev that he would have more flexibility after his election.

Mr. Penn a long time advisor of both Bill Clinton and chief strategist for Hillary Clinton’s Senatorial campaign, got wind of the conversation and immediately emailed Hillary Clinton the following reference to Obamas conversation with Medvedev;

“To explicitly say he [Obama] is laying low on nuclear defense policies because of his election right now and tell your opponent that is to politicize all foreign policy, evidence [of] weakness that can be exploited by others, and undermine the administration’s credibility,” He went on to warn Clinton “you will surely be asked if your decisions and positions are part of the election campaign and [advised her to] bat that down definitively.”

Penn ended his email with a back handed apology stating “maybe I’m overreacting,” but proposes she “may even consider resigning if that’s the case”. He was concerned that her foreign-policy decisions would be viewed as motivated by Obama's domestic politics.

Shortly thereafter, Hillary Clinton took Penn's advice and resigned her Secretary of State post.

It was Hawk Hillary that kept Putin in line. His aggression into the Ukraine began immediately after her resignation.

She's a chicken head. No one has stopped Putin from doing what he's wanted to. Obama drew lines in the sand, and Putin wiped them away.

Look's like Putin is cooling a bit on the bromance with your so called President. He's put the quietus on the Russian 'free' press (   ), wiping Trump off of top billing. Seems his press has been giving too much space to his devout admirer, taking the spot light off 'the man'.

I suppose I could list in chronological order the number of federal indictments Republican politicians from all branches of government have racked up, beginning woth the 69 federal indictments of the Nixon Administration. But that would turn out to be a book.

Suffice it to be content with just a review of just few of Republican indictments that come to mind since 2000. We won't get into the lies touted by Republican Administrations over the years, one of which got out country into todays ME quaqmire.

Connecticut Governor John Rowland resigned from office and later pleaded guilty to one-count of deprivation of honest services on December 23, 2004. Rowland was allegedly using public funds to pay for vacations and other extravagances. He served 10 months in a federal prison.

California Congressman Duke Cunningham pleaded guilty to charges of conspiracy to commit bribery, mail fraud, wire fraud and tax evasion on Nov. 28, 2005

Illinois Governor George Ryan Sept. 6, 2006, was sentenced to prison on fraud and racketeering charges, Sept. 6, 2006.

Libby Lewis, The Chief of Staff for Vice President Dick Cheney was convicted of perjury and obstruction of justice in the Plame Affair on March 6, 2007. His sentence was later commuted by President George W. Bush.

Senator Larry Craig, was arrested on June 11, 2007 for "lewd conduct" in a public restroom. The scandal eventually led to his retirement from the Senate.

New York City police Commissioner Bernard Kirik, was indicted on charges of conspiracy, tax fraud and making false statements on November 8, 2007.

Alaska Senator Ted Stevens was indicted on seven criminal charges of failing to report gifts on July 29, 2008.

Idaho Senator Crapo was arrested on Dec. 22, 2012 for drunk driving. Crapo's arrest was particularly damaging to his political career because of his reputation as an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

Representative Rick Renzi was convicted on 17 of 32 counts in a corruption case, accusing him of using his office for personal financial gain. June 6, 2013

Florida Representative Tray Radel convicted of possession of cocaine on November 19, 2013. Radel's arrest seemed particularly ironic considering the congressman's support of mandated drug tests for welfare recipients.

You Republican Party wonks are completely absent of any sense of fairness. Such hypocrites.

BTW Gopher posting distractions like 'democrat party corruption' to abet the Trump Circus currently in play on the national level isn't suffcient to take our eyes off of the real problems, your so called President and his Conservative sell outs are posing at the international and state levels.

While he convinced you NATO is obsolete and needs to go away, the man meeting with our NATO allies, Gen. Mattis is assuring them your so called President doesn't really mean what he says. The truth is he does mean it,and much to his chagrin, he just doesn't have the power to enforce it.

Only Trump's loyal supporters believe his lies enough to attempt to defend them these days.

It may take 26 months, but not less, to get an independent investigation of your so called President's Russian ties. The A erican public deserves to know everything our Intelligence community knows about Russias interference in our Presidential election and any personal ties or obligations your so called President has with Putin and or the Russian government.

The day you can document 17 of our U.S. Intelligence agencies publically stating there is or was ever a problem, or even a legitmate question concerning President Obama's citizenship, you can categorize America's legitimate concern about so salled President's ties to the Russian government as a "left conspiracy", comparable to the rights "conspiracy birther movement".

Until then you, and everyone else will have to face the facts as reported by our U.S. Intelligence agencies.

Fact 1. During and before the U.S. 2016 election campaigns, Russian government operatives engaged in hacking U.S. political organizations and private individuals. More specifically, Russia hacked the DNC computers and released the contents of Hillary Clinton her campaign advisor, John Podesta's emails. U.S. Intelligence confirmed Russian's hacked Republican political organizations, but did not or has not released information assumingly captured.

Fact 2. Your so called President has consistently praised Russia's dictator, Vladimir Putin, during and after the election. Your so called President has refused to acknowlege Putin's continued aggession of his illigetimate army terrorizing northern and parts of eastern Ukraine. Putin continues to flex his aggressive intentions, by trolling a nuclear warship extremely close to U.S. waters, and invading the airspace of our sovereign allies. Yet you so called President has nothing but kind words and excuses for the Russian dictators actions.

We Americans want answers. Not lies, cover ups and excuses. We want to know what Donald J. Trump and his close circle of associates with ties to Russia, knows about Donald J. Trump's dealings with the Russian government and any ties he may have. We want answers, and will get them.
