Well....you're gonna have to buck up and stand more. You so called President has a lot more on his agenda than $3 million weekend vacations, that will make your pride burst the seams.

This should have you beaming with pride PP.

Trump cuts out Meals on Wheels for homebound seniors, while we taxpayers get to pay for 100 secret service men to take the Trump brood on an Aspen ski vacation. And the ski equipment for Secret Service.

As so called President is on his sixth trip to what he has called the Southern White House, Mar a Lago, the Senate Parlimentarian have introduced a Bill to keep a record of Southern White House visitors. At first blush, this may seem like vengeful madness. But hold on, it isn't. It's good government.

'Sen. Tom Udall (D-N.M.) said of the bill in a statement: “It’s simple: the American people have a right to know who has access to the president and who has leverage over this administration.”

'Senate bill co-author Sen. Tome Carper (D.-Del.) noted that the “business of the president of the United States is the business of the people of the United States. Americans have long had the right to know who has access and influence in the White House, and this tradition of sunlight on inner workings of the executive branch must continue.”

"Senate Democrats sent a letter early this month requesting that the administration make Mar-a-Lago visitor logs available, but received no response." Huffington Post March 25, 2017

There are many reasons our government should keeping a record of visitors with intefacing with a POTUS. One big one is possibility of assassination attempt or the success of one.

We know Mar a Laga is a private business ran by private staff, not vetted government emoloyees. We know poisons exist that are virtually non-traceable. And we know that a POTUS with the the lowest approval rating in history has enemies. Mafia associates and foreign nefarious agents among them.

Maybe a handful of Republicans will understand the critical need to have a public record of the POTUS's visitors, and not try to kill a Bill that protects not only Americans right to know who influences the POTUS, but his safety as well.

Don't be ridiculous. Nobody that cares anything at all for American values would wish any government official, especially the POTUS assassinated.

We are all aware that high profile individuals are the targets of the insane for any number of reasons. Depending on the scope and depth of their particular form of insanity. Not to mention greed and all the other character flaws that tend to motivate humans to justify murder.

Without respect to Trump's politics or his apparent lack of ideology, he sits in the world's most politically influential seats in the entire world. As such protecting that power is directly teathered in all ways, to the future prosperity of our nation and it's people.

For all of your so called President's hypocrisy, the one most visable at the moment is his dedication to his expensive weekend golf habits at 'the southern White House'. A luxury costing tax payers no less than $3 million per vacation. So far we're on the hook for seven of them. Already your so called President has exceeded the $12 million average annual Obama Administration vacation expense in two months.

Nevermind that most of the 'southern White House' kitchen, restaurant, janitorial, and ancillary suppory staff are foreigners with H2-B visa's, your so called President said during his campaign were 'taking American jobs away from Americans'. This doesn't apply to the parallel universe he and his team live and operate in.

It's not appropriate to go into all of your so called President's hypocrisy in this thread. To cover all of it would take at least a dozen new topics, if not more.

So much hypocrisy, lies and corruption to cover. So little time.

As the Trump Administration proposes $54 Billion in cuts to the State Department, HUD and EPA, John Q. Taxpayer has so far written $21.6 Billion in checks to secure your so called President's weekend golf outings. Weekend golf vacations that have consumed more than 20% of the time your so called President 81 day tenure.

I guess the your President Elect that declared 'I don't have time for golf', has finally found time for it.

As fate would have it, the estimate for Trump's Mar-a-Lago trips is based on a 2013 weekend golf trip Obama took to Palm Beach.

Sen. John Barrasso, a Wyoming Republican, asked the GAO to probe the Obama outing, and its report finally came out last fall.

The GAO's bottom line for that trip, not including regular White House personnel costs as well as some classified expenses, was $3.6 million. But the author of that report, Brian Lepore, says that figure shouldn't be applied to Trump's travel.
Trump's trip are estimated to be 1 million per trip.
