It's a damn shame those politicians didn't care enough to at least listen to those with vision. Too stupid and too cowardly to fight for alternative industries, when any person that could read, knew coal was declining every decade. They would have figured out alternative power sources have been under study for 60 plus years. You don't have to be a genius to understand the global economy. You just have to be able to read publications about what concerns your local economy. And have enough sense not to buy into he rah rah garbage generated by those that are interested in maintaining the status quo.
