Illegal Flea Market on 119 at Baxter

Postby Brandon » Tue Oct 05, 2010 6:48 pm

I just wanted to give a big Thank You to the folks who put on this flea market each weekend. They do such a GREAT job cleaning up after themselves and setting a good example for future generations.

I really want to Thank You for not illegally dumping things that you didn't sell over behind the fence and over the hill... because that would be truly pathetic.

I've often wondered why these people get by with setting up there. The trash is deplorable.

In addition to that problem, they were setting up at 5:30a the other morning and almost caused a wreck. Several people have pulled out in front of cars, stopped suddenly on the highway and worse, make U turns at the end of the barrier there without thought of those behind or in front of them.

As bad as the county needs money, these people need to buy privilege licenses like any other business has to do to operate a business.

Where to they get all the stuff they sell anyway?

I think someone should find out some names and call the police and fine the hell out of the trash. No wonder people think we are dim witted back woods nuts that don't have the sence god gives a goose. No pride, no shame and no give a dam what people think of us all. This makes me mad as fire and if I wanted something they had and it was a nickle, I would not buy it and I will also tell all my family and friends to stay away too.

I dont care what they do to the flea marketers, but leave the gun traders alone. We are running out of places to go. Plus gun traders usualy have nothing to leave behind or throw away.

I agree.. I see those toys and think if they had a heart they could have donated them to some church or the Goodwill. That could have brought some child, somewhere some joy.

I thought the same thing when I saw this thread. What a terrible waste. :( These people are obviously selfish on multiple levels.

if he did that it worked. i am sure there are some kids somewhere
that would love to have these little bears. i just don't understand
why some of this stuff was left behind. you know they set up their
tables week after week. what i don't see is why leave something behind
that will sell eventially.
