oh...and easy access to the old shelter house/lake area now that the new road has been built. sometimes it's hard to find a good spot to fish because of the damned virginia people.

Briscoe wrote:we can live without that damn fourwheeler park. it was a good thing but we have other good things around here to invest in. two lakes. imagion what we could do with them. camp sites, swimming pools, a place to boat, fish, park campers, pitch a tent or rent a cabin. even have the opportunity to screw a wild bear in the woods. not everybody has a damn fourwheeler.

We have camp sites, you can pitch a tent, rent a cabin, screw a wild bear, all the while riding your four wheeler, but It's not about the 4Wheelers. It's the money the tourist spend while here. Fuel, food lodging, ect, ect and it really adds up. If this is true it will amount to business closures and lost jobs.

Let the IDA Board purchase the land. Then they will give it way for a song.

If you listened to Ken Crider for ten minutes you would believe he owned it.

I think I called this a few years back... Early on in the ATV park topic... I said the Bennett's would throw them out and take it if it made money... This is not exactly the same, but same result...

A private investment firm could take that over and make it extremely profitable. To much infighting, backstabbing, and nepotism right now for it to be successful.

Soar money via Highlands in the name of adventure tourism. Plausible.
