I viewed the list today and Harlan isn't on it. Around 250 will close with 150 being in the U.S. I expected the Jonesville VA to be one of them but it isn't. Texas is taking the biggest loss.

The Obama Admin did fire another shot in the war on coal. No additional contract for mining on Federal land. Little known fact is that 40% of all mines are on federal land. As for the current contracts won't be effected that is until they expire. They don't be renewed.

I know your not a fan of Walmart G but I love the Jonesville store. It's so clean, roomy, and not over crowded.

I don't like anything about Walmart. I have to trade there from time to time, but I avoid it as much as possible. They're actually higher on many things. They offer 'competitive pricing' just to put competition out of business. When accomplished they raise their prices more often and above the market.

Wal-Mart has run thousands of small-businesses OUT of business. The stores are ugly. The employees have bad attitudes– but who can blame them? They are treated like shit.

Walmart havs announced that plans to build more stores in the DC area has been cancelled. The current mayor has said he was "blood mad" and the former mayor it's a outrage. Walmart has said the three stores located in DC are poor performers. Not backing Walmart but if those stores made money they would have expansion plans. Give it a few days and race will be the reason.
