The Benghazi tradegty is a result of unresponsive government bureaucracy. It has become a national political issue, that isn't focused on streamlining a bureaucracy to efficently meet the needs of the people it governs.
No, hearings that cost taxpayers millions weren't focused on what can be done to prevent these tradgety's in the future. They were focused on a blame game designed to impeach the credibilty of a single political person.
A very real tradegty, as evidenced in the Benghazi attack, is nothing will change the bureaucracy in government that leaves millions suffering and in need, begging for help. When the bureacracy fails it's high level bureaucrats and some die, the heads of these government bureaucracies do as they have always done, look elsewhere to place blame.
Their counterparts, leaders influencing government bureaucracies, take great pains to avoid exposing the failure of the bureaucratic system itself. Instead, they use these failures to sway public opinion, not to correct the system, but to strengthen their political power.
