People need food stamps to survive. I don't understand why some people are against helping others.

Are the millions of unwanted children starved, beaten, tortured, or made slaves to the illegal sex and drug industry "lucky" or "unlucky"?

You go from 0 to 100. I think the mother of the drug addicted/disabled/herion/cocaine/meth addict should be killed.

How can they be starving with food stamps and Michelle Obama's healthy school lunch program? I think someone should do a study of those who receive food stamps and obesity.

It's interesting that the same political stance that defends war as moral, and the innocent victims thereof as "collateral damage", also proclaims abortion of an unborn fetus to be murder. I agree that abortion procedure is not intended a means of birth control. Although I disagree that human life or any life, is created at conception. Conception creates an environment for life to evolve. If that was not the case there would be no ectopic or molar pregnancies, as both form and grow fetal tissue, but lacks the environment to evolve into life. These moral judgements of justified and unjustified killing are directly in conflict with each other, and in conflict with God's Commandment "Thou Shalt Not Kill". Even Creationist state it took 6 days for God to create the world. If this is true, then it follows that our world was conceived before it was created.

This article sheds some light on the much "abused" food stamp program the Right is so committed to ending.

Be sure to read the entire article which leads the author to conclude the following:

"That’s because calorie-dense, high-fat, processed foods tend to be less expensive than more healthy choice".

I believe if you really want to eat healthful you can. But it takes commitment and work. Avoiding pre packaged convenience food like the plague. Not sure it can be done on a food stamp allotment. And I'm sure it can't be done without preparation and a stove. Does anybody know if you can buy packaged seeds with food stamps?

You can purchase seeds, and unless I'm mistaken you can purchase vegetable plants that's already started. I guarantee you the amounts listed below is more than what someone who pays cash spends on groceries.

People in Household Maximum Monthly Allotment
1...................................... $200
2...................................... $367
3...................................... $526
4...................................... $668
